What is Your Password?

:

I have a great need for Christ; I have a great Christ for my need!

And since we are His children, we are His heirs. In fact together with Christ we are heirs of God's glory. Romans 8:17a

What is your Password?

Doesn't it seem like we need a Password for everything? Passwords identify the user. They are intended to keep others from our business. For our security, we're encouraged to change our Passwords frequently.

Good News! Christians have only one Password needed: JESUS. Through salvation we acquire this Password forever, we are forever protected as a Child of God.

Unlike our techie Passwords, we are safe and secure in JESUS and able to access every gift He promised. Open up your life to see what is available to you as a believer. The scriptures connect you with His "promise after promise", "blessing upon blessing".

Password: JESUS, JESUS, period! No other Password is needed to open your life to a life full of amazement and it's a Password easy to remember. Jesus never forgets you!

In this time of questions, change, unrest, scary feelings, loneliness, etc. JESUS is always a Password that will connect you to love, acceptance, peace, hope, joy, a good friend - you are loved!

FYI: Until we meet again, please reach out to your Youth leaders, Miriam, Dakota, Mr. Shawn, Ms. Debby, if you need anything or reach out to a Youth Group Buddy. You're all amazing people! Just because we're not meeting, you're still in our thoughts and prayers.

"Youth in the Spotlight" is Mara Newkirk! Mara is a Senior at Olathe West High School. Her favorite subject is American Sign Language, she gets a lot of practice talking to her deaf friend. Mara has 1 sister and 2 brothers, family and friends are very important to her. After graduation she plans to attend Cosmetology School. She already cuts her dad and brother's hair. Mara likes horses, collects novelty pins, and in her free time you can find her on Tic Tok. Mara missed going to camp, this past summer, for kids with Spina Bifada, it was cancelled because of Covid. So have many of the school activities that Mara was looking forward too. Mara's advice for FBC Youth is: Youth Group is a good place to make friends. I admire Mara, she doesn't let any obstacle stop her from living life to the fullest. With her sweet, positive attitude and her faith in God, we can look forward to Mara accomplishing amazing things, Mara adds so much fun and beauty to this World, you're a beautiful example. It must be because Jesus means "salvation" to you! You're a blessing!
