Dr. Hendricks is our Interim Pastor, serving our church until a new pastor is called. His is reshape our perspective of ‘Church.’ He brings extensive expertise in architecting solutions that make a difference in people’s lives. This strategic approach defines purpose, drives commitment and builds engagement.
For 40 years Dr. Hendricks has shaped organizations and developed people, through world-wide consulting engagements. His experience spans, from local church to corporate conglomerates; coaching world-class athletes to working on the streets with youth who are struggling with drug addiction.
Dr. Hendricks completed his BA in Education from the University of Northern Iowa, his M.Div from Asbury Theological Seminary and his D.Min. from the University of Dubuque, with a focus on organizational conflict. He has published numerous books and five were chosen Top 30 Best Business Books in the year of their publication.
Dr. Hendricks is the Director of Interim Ministry for the American Baptist Churches of the Central Region. He is the Chairman and CEO of Hendricks Training LLC serves on numerous boards as a strategic advisor. He is an Executive Sponsor for the Organization for Entrepreneurial Development and Executive Mentor with the University of Missouri Kansas City Entrepreneur Program and is also a Student Mentor at Central Seminary.
Jenn has been a vital part of the Connections Preschools staff, starting out as a teacher at the Olathe campus and then serving as the director to the Gardner campus. Jenn now takes the reins as our lead director. We are glad to have Jenn, her husband Tony and daughter Sophia as part of our Preschool team!
Paul was called as missions pastor in 2019. His passion for missions comes out of his upbringing as a missionary kid in northeast India and service as a short term missionary in Cambodian refugee camps during the early 80s. Paul met his wife Morna, while working in the refugee camp. Morna is from the Philippines. Together they enjoy hosting, seeing new places, being at home and with family, and remodeling (mainly Paul). Paul is a retired engineer.
