You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity, which will produce thanksgiving to God through us. 2 Corinthians 9:11
Hot chocolate, fuzzy slippers, warm scarves, family, friends, this is the time of the year when we really count our blessings, and remember just how good God is. Also, it's the time of the year when we are asked to share what God has given to us. With Jesus' birthday coming up we are more aware of God at this time then at other times of the year. However, we should always give thanks to God and share His love every day, not just this time of the year.
So to do this my prayer is that you get to know God better each day. Enjoy God everyday and you'll want to share this joy. Getting to know God better is to look for Him in the smallest areas of your life. Seeing God in the big stuff is easy. It's harder to see God in the small stuff. God is there! Nothing is too small or unimportant to God if it's important to you, it's important to God. God loves you very much! Let's thank God for the small stuff as well as the big stuff, thank God everyday for His gifts, and go through each day looking for ways to please God. Talk about it with your family. Think about something big, then small in your life that God helped you with. Always give thanks!
This is the time to be thankful, everyday is a perfect time to express gratitude. What will you thank God for today?
Knock, Knock Who's there?
Gobble Gobble who?
Gobble up God's love for you!
