Keeping Time!

For we are the partners working together for God. 1 Corinthians 3:9

Summer vacation is over, school has started, we have thought about what we will need for our General Education: school supplies, masks (what is the rule for the day), hand sanitizer, what teacher will I get, signing up for fall sports (will there be fall sports),music lessons, play tryouts, riding the bus? I'm sure the list goes on, even if you're homeschooled. But, what are we doing to prepare for our Christian Education? Just think about it, we're active with school and maybe outside activities that total 40 hours (or more if you have a job), a week. While our Christian Education averages 2 to 4 hours a week.

So at home and at Church, every activity, every conversation, and every association that you experience should set down another building block for your relationship with God. Watch for opportunities to share God with your family and friends. How is your Bible reading and prayer time? Do your friends reflect your Christian beliefs? Remember, your friends are watching you and might want to follow your lead.

My prayer for each Youth starting a new school year is that God will grant you peace (to take away the jitters), wisdom (for understanding), friends (new and old), and a happy face (you're a witness for God). Trust God. Surprises await you, and they are likely better than you ever imagined.

I thank God for you! "To the World, you may be one person, but to one person, you are the World!" Join us for Worship 10:30 Sunday mornings and Youth Group 5:30-7:00 Sunday evenings. Mr. Shawn and I are planning some off site surprises. Watch for information about Braving Discipleship in November, at Ottawa University, for High School. No Youth Group Sunday, September 5.

Spend more time with God, family, and friends, you will be blessed beyond belief.

Blessings and Love,

Ms. Debby
